Nancy is being discharged from Sutter Oaks - TODAY
Today (Tuesday 3/13) Nancy is being discharged from Sutter Oaks. She has progressed very well. She was able to bend both of her knees to 94 degrees yesterday. She had to be at least 90 to be discharged. Continue to pray for us as now Nancy will have to do her physical therapy at home for a few weeks a Visiting Nurse will come to the house 2-3 times a week for several weeks. Then Nancy will have to go downtown for physical therapy for several weeks 2-3 times a week. Pray that she'll be faithful to do her exercises and that I'll be an encouragement to her as well as a helpler when needed.

Nancy had so many visitors the front desk wanted to know who is this Nancy Fiol (Tiney told them she was a celebrity). A couple of days she had 7 visitors. She received flowers, a bunch of get well cards and many phone calls.
We're both thankful that she gets to come home and yet a little scared. Pray for the peace of God to reassure both of our hearts. We know that it's because of your prayers that Nancy has done so well. She said that if they would have tried to discharge last Friday or Saturday she didn't feel that she was ready. By Monday (yesterday) she is so much stronger and has real peace about coming home.
Thank you again and may the Lord richly bless you for your faithfulness in upholding us in prayer. Our God is great and I guess we shouldn't be surprised when things go better than expected..................Ric
