God's Plan for YOU and Arcade Church !
By Roy Lessin, Co-Founder, DaySpring Cards
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 NIV
God has a plan for your life. He brought you into this world to fulfill that plan. It is the best plan that anyone could ever make for you. It is a plan that will bring Him the greatest glory and you the greatest good. From the beginning of this calendar year until its end, God is working out His plan.
As you follow God's plan for your life, you do so by faith. It is important to remember that He is the Guide and you are the follower. He does not need to bring you into His planning room as a consultant to help Him decide what is best for your life. God has called you to trust Him and to take the next step of obedience according to His will. God has said, "I will bring the blind by a way they did not know; I will lead them in paths they have not known. I will make darkness light before them, And crooked places straight. These things I will do for them, And not forsake them." Isaiah 42:16 NKJV
Here are some ways that God is working out His plan:

He is your Shepherd—He is leading you.
He is your Provider—He is taking care of you.
He is your Strength—He is enabling you.
He is your Counselor—He is speaking to you.
He is your Shield—He is protecting you.
He is your Comfort—He is encouraging you.
He is your Father—He is blessing you.

Praise God today for His plan for you, your family and Arcade Church.

How Can I Show Love to My Neighbor (or anyone)
Give a Bible -- Offer prayer

PRAY THIS EVEN IF YOU DON'T FEEL LIKE IT!!
PRAY THIS EVEN IF YOU DON'T FEEL LIKE IT!! IT WILL ONLY TAKE A MINUTE. I started not to do this, but as I read it.... I think I understood God to say, "You need a miracle tomorrow.... so here goes... Prov. 29:25...

Dear Lord, I thank You for this day I thank You for my being able to see and to hear this morning. I'm blessed because You are a forgiving God and an understanding God. You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me. Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to you.

I ask now for Your forgiveness. Please keep me safe from all danger and harm. Help me to start this day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude Let me make the best of each and every day to clear my mind so that I can hear from You. Please broaden my mind that I can accept all things. Let me not whine and whimper over things I have no control over. And It's the best response when I'm pushed beyond my limits.

I know that when I can't pray, You listen to my heart. Continue to use me to do Your will. Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others. Keep me strong that I may help the weak... Keep me uplifted that I may have words of encouragement for others. I pray for those that are lost and can't find their way. I pray for those that are misjudged and misunderstood. I pray for those who don't know You intimately. I pray for those that will delete this without sharing it with others I pray for those that don't believe.

I pray that these words be received into the hearts of every eye that sees it.

If you prayed this prayer, change the number in the subject box before
forwarding the message so people can See how many people have done so.

God Bless!!!!!!!!!!! Just repeat this phrase and see how God moves!!

God -- I love you and I need you, come into my heart, please in Jesus Name!

What A Week!! What A Joy! Our God is Great!
ARCADE CHURCH

Dear Arcade Family:

It is with great excitement that I write today in my first official week as your Senior Pastor. I am so thankful to God for the past two years and how He has used so many different occasions to stretch me and grow me. I have definitely felt God molding me for a time such as this. It is true that God causes all things for good, even when the road seemed cloudy and unsure. I want to personally thank all those who have supported my leadership over the past years and have been committed to praying for me and my family. I urge you all to fall face down and continue in intense prayer for Gods direction and movement in the future. We will be committed to listening to Gods voice and then following His lead. As I write this, I look up at my idea boards in my office and read, You cannot go faster than the one who is leading. This is a constant reminder that God is the leader of this church and we will follow Him.

Please pray for our staff as we listen to God and clearly develop exactly how and where to move from here. Pray for us as we dig into relationship with Jesus at a deeper, more intimate level and evaluate our current spiritual health. It is crucial that we are healthy so that we may lead others into a more vibrant, healthy relationship with Jesus.

Jake Larson
Senior Pastor
Arcade Church
Sacramento, CA

P.S.
Please pray for me as I sense a desperate need to go away for a couple of weeks and just be in the presence of God. It is humbling to be your pastor. But I would remind us all that it is the Great Shepherd Who is pastoring this congregation . . . and I need to go away for a short while and rest in His presence and listen to Him. Thank you for praying for me. It means SO much!

Please Pray for God's Protection-Direction & Favor on each of the following.

  PASTORAL STAFF PRAYER REQUESTS

ARCADE CHURCH
From Pastors Prayer Partners:

We have a new “staff” person, Tim Sandquist on the pastors list this week. He has started a part-time, temporary position as consultant and liaison for the Del Norte Ministry. He has been Director of the Tennis and Swim Club at Peninsula Bible Church in Redwood City for the last 11 years and is starting a new ministry in consulting churches in nontraditional ministries. He was introduced and spoke briefly this last Sunday morning. Get to know Tim and pray for his protection, direction and favor (pdf-prayer).

Arcade Church has taken ownership of Del Norte. Pray for wisdom and grace in all decisions made in reference to this new season of outreach as a church and individuals.

Thanks,

Vic and Guenther
